Dory Lovey by pbird12 Dory Lovey by pbird12
This is my drawing for a little mini draw-along with ~AlexMahone

I'm hoping this drawing is recognisable as *DoraLovey Dora is just the most naturally beautiful looking girl and was a joy to draw. I'm also really pleased because *fhrankee has given me permission to draw from his gallery so I have many more planned
I'm sure most of you have come across both Dora and Dimitri, but if not, both are so talented and I don't doubt you'd enjoy a visit to their galleries.

Materials this time:
A4 extra smooth bristol board (the drawing measures 10"x7" and Dora's face is about 3 1/2")
Wooden cased pencils 2H, HB, 2B and 4B
Mechanical Pencil 2B (used for all of the roses in the frame)
Erasers
Time: 10-12 hours maybe, I'm not sure :P

The roses for the frame may look more like pinecones  I'm okay with pinecones I think

Thank you for taking a look

There is a WIP in my scraps too - [link]

Thank you again  She's such a beautiful girl, I should have made it a bit bigger to get more detail in there, it's teeny tiny :P

:giggle: Glad you think they look like roses :D

You're very welcome :aww: Big or not, it still looks wonderful. Maybe too many details would have overwhelmed her beauty? So... it's amazing as it is ^^

When two hydrogen nuclei (protons) are joined, it produces a merger, becoming the result into a helium nucleus, this is the beginning of a chain reaction called "proton-proton reaction". This nuclear fusion is responsible that our sun shines and warms us. :steaming:
When you join a beautiful picture with such talented artist like you :wow:, of this union can only emerge a marterpiece that shines with own light and dazzles us with his beauty. :deviation:

She is insanely adorable! Where are all these girls in the states? She looks sad, but maybe that's why she has roses? I would give her roses for sure.

"The roses for the frame may look more like pinecones I'm okay with pinecones I think "

Oh whatever, they look amazing regardless of what you think. :P It's a "redneck rose." There, I coined a term just for you, Paula. I'll collect several pine cones for my next date (maybe paint them red?) and see if I get lucky.

I think you did an impressive job for having such a small space to work with and in a short amount of time. I can't stop looking at her sad expression and detailed hair.
