I don't know about anyone else, but I sometimes start a drawing and halfway through forget to look at my reference and get carried away, then, by the time I'm done, it doesn't look anything like what I was trying to draw :P Anyway, this started life as Mila Kunis and now she is just a girl ... again! I kinda like her anyway so didn't bother trying to work out what went wrong :lol:

I love minimal drawings (we all know Ileana Hunter is the best at these here on dA) but my friend Nat :iconlilaeabluecoat: says I don't do minimal, I do medium. So here is a medium :D Drawn to get my stone fingers working again.

Materials:
A4 (bit smaller) bristol board
Graphite - 3H, 2B, 4B and 6B
Eraser
Time: About 5-6 hours

I like how you drew her hair! That could've gotten very dark and 'massive' (if you get what I mean), but you kept it light and flowing. Great job. :aww:

I knew it was Mila when I saw the miniature in my inbox so I believe you didn't screw up the resemblance :) What a piercing gaze! The eyes are the best part of this portrait :heart:

I like how the hair looks, so free and flowing. It looks so easy to draw like this but I know it is everything but easy. The eyes of course are just brilliant but they always are in your drawings!!

Recognized her immediately from the thumb alone, so you díd get a good likeness!
Beautiful drawing; her eyes are very captivating!
