Traditional Art / Scratchboard

My little ones and I had a bit of an arty afternoon today, we were very lazy, so this is why the title

This was my make for the day .. a kit scratchboard tiger

I want to do some of these for real in a larger scale in the future, it's a lot of fun!

In reality he is very tiny and very gold, but I made him blue, since the scanner didn't pick up the detail or the colour very well

I was going to upload my little girls, but sadly her kitten has been mutilated and it's not a pretty sight

Very cool! Not sure if I've commented before on this but it's very nice and quite detailed!
Scratchboards scare me, like pens, you can't erase your mistakes and my erasers and I are best friends.

I can't take very much credit for this one, it was a little kit thing. But it's so much fun, I bought good tools and board to do my own ... can't wait to get the time to try it
