I hope every commission I get is as fun as this one and the next two to come :happybounce:

Materials:
A4 Mellotex (minus a 1cm border for framing)
Graphite - 3H to 6B and 8B Mars Lumo
Eraser
BluTack
Time: Somewhere between 10-12 hours
The ref was provided by the commissioner.
It's, as always, not scanning especially well, but it's close enough :shrug:
EDIT: I've uploaded a slightly better scan, the last one was bothering me :D

This is breath taking gorgeous! Looking at your gallery makes me want to get back into serious drawing. I use to draw so much as a teen, but have slowed down drastically as an adult.
Question though.....why do you use BlueTack for? I assume it is to create a certain effect?

Thank you so much. I didn't draw for ten years before joining dA and it's been brilliant, I highly recommend it :nod:

I use blutacK instead of a kneaded eraser, it works soooo much better!

coming back to this piece of yours, I am still amazed. You just managed to create every texture perfectly, I just love the distant drops, but the more focused ones are just amazing as well. You just did this in a fantastic way.

Hi there,

My commissions vary depending on detail and size etc, but as a starting point I take £50 for a straightforward A4 portrait :)
