A small story with this one. My mum said to me the other day "Why don't you draw from your head anymore, do you think you can do it?"

At the time, I ignored her because I like to use a reference, that's what I enjoy, but today I had some major procrastination going on when I was supposed to be studying and decided to set myself a challenge. I can't believe my mum is getting to me at my age

So my challenge - 1 hour study break, paint something without a ref and see what happens. Weeellll this is what happened ... Perhaps I should stick with the references

Materials:
Watercolour
Faber Castell Aquarelle pencils
Pastels
Silver fineliner
Time: 1 Hour, plus 10 mins for the pens additions once everything was dry

NOTE: Okay, today is the 13th Nov and I'm hunting for the ref for my new drawing and found this [link] Is it just me or does this look like my painting? Eeek!!! I wonder if I've saw it before and the pose stuck in my head!! Freaked out
