I'm finally getting round to making the speed drawing video. This is a little start and I thought it would be a good idea to ask if the video quality looked alright before doing more? It's really tricky getting the camera at a decent angle and not getting my hands in the way!

WIP1 - About 45 mins of drawing.
WIP2 - It turns out, I really don't like recording me drawing even one teeny bit :no: It's so difficult to try and not flip the paper round and round the way I normally do. So, I will keep recording but I don't think I'll do it all, I'll do each element of the drawing, but for the skin etc, once I've done one part, the rest is the same, so no point in sending everyone to sleep :)
WIP3 - I'm about 5 hours in now, I'm guessing another 10 or so to go.
WIP4 - I'll make this the last WIP now. I'm at 8-9 hours. Sorry about the dirty marks, I need to clean the scanner .. again! It's also scanning a bit weird because of all the white space, hopefully when she's done I can get a better one :)

I'll add a few more WIPs here as I go as always.

I love your work ... I shouldnt compare but now I feel miserable looking at my sketches.. however temporary that may be ;)

Thank you very much :hug: If it helps, I couldn't draw very well at all until 19 months ago, you already draw very much better that I could when I joined dA. I understand that feeling so well, I had it too :nod:

I think it's very safe to say it's a temporary feeling, your drawings are lovely!

How were you doing your skin texture? Tiny circles?.. S far, most my faces have been smooth, time to branch out into the world of texture:)

It was circulism :nod: That's pretty much what I prefer now, there's a lot more control and the texture is fun. I hope you have fun with it!

I'm not very familiar with circlisim... Heck, I'm not very familiar with much of any techniques, I just draw and stare at my drawing and think about it, till I think it looks right,..heh. :)
