It can tolerate quite a lot of layers and blending!! I tested it with Prismacolors and (me being a newbie) it took quite a lot of punishment from me. :D
Just be a tiny bit careful if the paper has that sliiiight yellowish tint, because the colours might be a tiiiiiiiny bit off. (I didn't notice much, if any, difference, but then again, I'm not still not used with working with colour.) Try to test your colours on a separate piece of paper if you decide to work on it. (:

Thank you very much for the info, that's great, I'm going to give it a go, I think it will work for this project and now you've said it takes some punishment, I'm sold :D

I've used this paper before and I like it a lot, but only for graphite, I'll bear that in mind

I don´t have much experience with colour pencils, but it´s definitely awesome for graphite!
But I can very well imagine it to work just as fine...definitely worth a try, if you haven´t yet :)

I quite like it for graphite too, it blends really nicely, so I'm going to give it a go for sure :) Thank you

Can't be sure until I try, but Hahnemühle might just be coarse enough to hold quite a bit a bit of color pencil I imagine.

Thank you, I think I'll do a trial run today and see how it goes, if it takes about 6-7 layers, I'll be happy enough :)

Actually (the memory again!) I think this is what I used for The Last Supper and the colours looked good on it

And? What happened? Did it work okay?

Well, there is a story behind this, it kind of doesn't matter anymore, the person who had me spend hours on the sketch and putting it together based on a very very specific criteria, decided my vision wasn't what her vision was and has now disappeared ... no payment in sight :( So I guess it matters no more :tears:

What a rotten thing to happen! I hope you're gonna start requesting payment upfront, or at least a down-payment before you even put pencil to paper! It would help to avoid these things, I'm sure! But wow that sucks...

I want to try CP's on Hahnmühle one of these days (simply because I don't think I have any other suitable paper), so I'll let YOU know. ;)
